Why Did You Become a Fertility Expert?
Earlier in my medical career, my wife and I experienced infertility ourselves. It was then that I realized my purpose as a doctor. My wife was 40 years old and had experienced several miscarriages and one failed IVF cycle. She became pregnant on a clomid/IUI cycle and we were so fortunate to have had a healthy baby girl! The experience completely changed my life and my view of the world. My family is such a great joy and I’m so blessed to now have the opportunity to help individuals and couples create families of their own.

What is Your Approach to Patient Care?
Communicating! Solving infertility is a process that involves gathering information, interpreting test results, and making an accurate diagnosis – all while communicating with my patients, every step of the way. I feel it’s imperative for individuals and couples to understand what’s happening with their treatment and to be as educated as possible at all times.

Have Any Patients Truly Inspired You?
Honestly, each patient that I see or talk with has such a unique and inspiring story. They want to become a parent so badly. That in itself is so inspiring! Another inspiration comes from those who are now building families later in life, compared to past generations who were much younger. I became a first time father later in life myself, so I relate with – and am inspired by others who are determined to start a family!

How Do You Spend You Free Time?
I absolutely love spending time with my daughter, wife and 3 step-sons. I also love to read and play the cello.
